Who Am I And Why?
Hello! I’m Jenny, the host of podcast Folkitory, and I am one of those strange things lurking.
I don’t know where my fascination with history, folklore and the paranormal started, but my childhood seemed to the contain an awful lot of books on ghosts, mythology and historic tales…
So, I suppose it makes sense that I did a degree in archaeology. Although back then I couldn’t find enthusiasm for small pieces of pottery hidden in the ground.
Now, in mid-life and rediscovering my love of history and folklore, I am now in love with finding sea pottery on the beach. If only they’d covered beach combing at university.
